Crew Resource Management
The Crew Resource Management course is comprised of 8 modules with a total of 3.25 hours of video instruction with module quizzes for reinforcement, and a final test. The cost of the course is $295 per person. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate, and a training course outline will be sent via email.
This course was designed for aviation professionals who need a solid understanding of CRM concepts and how to apply them to enhance safety, communication, and efficiency across all aviation roles. It is appropriate for individuals in fixed wing, rotor wing, UAS, maintenance, dispatch, and ground operations.
Students completing this course will meet the following objectives:
Define CRM and its key components, including communication, situational awareness, teamwork, decision-making, workload management, and fatigue/stress mitigation.
Apply effective communication strategies and recognize common barriers to clear communication.
Understand the principles of building and leading effective teams, including leadership, followership, and managing the authority gradient.
Identify signs of reduced situational awareness and apply strategies to regain it.
Implement workload management techniques, including task prioritization and distribution, to prevent overload.
Recognize the effects of fatigue and stress on performance and apply countermeasures to mitigate their impact.
